A decade on, I still believe business can change the world, and individuals can change business — But this change must start from ourselves.

Gib's
Journey :

from Intrapreneur to Inside Out Leader

We are all works in progress.  For the hero award-winning “intrapreneur”, who founded and scaled the corporate social enterprise, Accenture Development Partnerships (ADP), basking in the limelight of talks given at the United Nations in New York or the World Economic Forum in Davos was fun. But success came at a price.

The “corporate immune system” took its toll and a burnout in 2014 was the perfect catalyst for inner transformation in my work and personal life. I transitioned from chasing material and career success on the outside, to seeking answers on the inside. This journey of self-discovery included writing a book, attending seminars and retreats such as Burning man and most recently, immersing myself in a three year program of inner work at the Zulma Reyo School of Consciousness in Majorca.

More than a decade on, I still believe in the power of business to change the world, and in the power of individuals to change the world of business - But this change must start with ourselves.

My new focus is on developing more creative, conscious and regenerative leaders, harnessing the transformational power of art, music, nature and spirituality - parts of my identity which were smothered by the demands of a corporate career. I seek to balance this with my new role as a husband and father - by far the most important and rewarding projects of my career thus far.

The compass behind my work

Intrapreneurship

I was a founding member of the League of Intrapreneurs and now serve on its Board. I continue to write and speak on the topic of entrepreneurship and employee activism.

School of Consciousness

My own practice has been shaped and informed by an intensive three year programme at the Zulma Reyo School of Consciousness in Majorca, which was fully funded by the Light-en Foundation.

Music &
Singing Gospel

Having been born into a musical family, it’s only now that I’ve started to explore this long hidden side of my identity through piano playing and singing in the Geneva Gospel Choir.
